Will the top coat waterproof my project?

Our top coat provides a glossy, protective finish, but it is not fully waterproof. Projects sealed with varnish are best used as decorative pieces and should not hold liquids long term.

How long does it take for the clay to air dry?

What can I create?

You can create a variety of decorative and (non-food/drink safe) functional items, such as:

 Do I need a kiln?

You only need a kiln if you want to make your project food-safe or fully waterproof. For decorative projects, our clay is air-dry and doesn’t require firing.

Can I put my clay in the oven?

No, our clay is air-dry and is not designed to be baked in a home oven. Attempting to do so may damage the clay and your oven. Simply let your project air dry at room temperature for the best results.

Is it food or drink safe?

No, projects made with our air-dry clay are not intended to be used for the consumption of food or drink,.

How long does the clay last?

Unopened clay stored in a cool, dry place can last for several months. To keep opened clay fresh, store it in the resealable bag it comes with. Spray a small amount of water into the bag before sealing to keep the clay moist.

How do I paint and seal my projects?

• Top Coat: Apply our top coat to your dry project to give it a vibrant, smooth base. Let it dry for 1–2 minutes.

• Painting: Once the top coat is dry, use our premium acrylic paints to decorate your project.

• Sealing: Finish with our varnish for a protective, glossy finish.
