My passion for pottery has led me to opening up a blossoming studio in East Village, San Diego, where I've had the joy of teaching and creating. The dream of Pinchit has been on my mind for years—a way to bring the magic of pottery into homes, breaking down barriers and making it a shared joy. After much research and testing, I finally found the perfect clay that works wonders for both air drying and kiln firing, which became a cornerstone of our kits.

Mikaela, originally from Argentina, brings a whirlwind of expertise from the world of social media and image consulting. We met in a twist of fate at my pottery studio, where in between classes and muddy hands, our friendship started. Mikaela's skills in social media and her keen eye for aesthetics have been instrumental in bringing Pinchit to life.

Together, we're proud to say that Pinchit is a women-owned venture, nurtured and grown by just the two of us (for now). Our goal is to share our love for pottery with you, to provide a space where creativity can flow freely, without the constraints of a traditional studio. Whether you're a seasoned potter or someone looking to try something new, we believe there's something incredibly special about the connection between your hands and clay. 

At Pinchit, we're passionate about sharing the therapeutic aspects of pottery through what we affectionately call *Muditation™. Our goal is to make pottery accessible to everyone, regardless of whether you consider yourself a creative person or not. Pottery isn't just about crafting beautiful pieces—it's a profound experience that can aid in stress relief, enhance motor skills, and provide a delightful sensory activity. We believe in the power of clay to nurture both creativity and well-being.
